Creative Inteligence

This is the foundation of the new project ‘The William Doran Quartet’ this is new quartet i have formed with various players of the Jazz discipline . William Doran Is the leader a multi intstrumentalist Trumpeter who performs on rotary and piston trumpet . The compositons are Williams works which use various non linear forms intertwined with straight ahead jazz to create progressive compositons within a very rich timbre .

On Piano is Adam Bhika a relative of William Doran a fellow Zambian Country man who is enriched his sound township and zimbabwaen jazz aswell as rhumba . An African Jazz master in the making.

Adrian Schofield is a Hungarian Born Drummer who has been influenced by istrian music and jazz and has a mathmatical approach to his playing using this he creates some complex polyrhtmns that really challenge our idea tempo and time.

Freddie Knight on bass English born player rooted in traditional playing he has been immersed in the new orleans style and has very laid back rhytmnic approach which drives the rhytmn section.
